By far, the Hawaiian Cultural Motifs are the most common and pervasive within all of the stories within the Hawaiian Islands. Immigrants and newcomers to these islands add to their stories a Hawaiian twist. This Hawaiianess adds credibility to the story even if the listener does not understand that usually the motifs` are shredded and in piecemeal form. However, their origins and relationship to the base culture of these islands are very evident. The following are the topic areas of the stories collected.
