By far, the Hawaiian Cultural Motifs are the most common and
pervasive within all of the stories within the Hawaiian Islands. Immigrants and newcomers
to these islands add to their stories a Hawaiian twist. This Hawaiianess
adds credibility to the story even if the listener does not understand that
usually the motifs` are shredded and in piecemeal form. However, their origins
and relationship to the base culture of these islands are very evident.
